MPS Monitor on stage at the HP World Partner Forum #HPReinvent17
It was fantastic to be in Chicago from 11 to 14 September at one of the largest and most prestigious HP events: with thousands of partners coming from all over the world, the three-days HP World Partner Forum #HPReinvent17 put digital transformation centre stage as well as the future of printing as a service. HP top management – including Dion Weisler, CEO of HP, Enrique Lores, President of HP Printing and Imaging, and Ron Coughlin, President of HP Personal Systems – outlined the trends and opportunities for their partners over the coming months, alongside many other exceptional speakers.
The event was also an opportunity to look at Smart Device Services (SDS), the remote support and management services now available for most HP printers and multifunction devices: MPS Monitor has been at the forefront in this regard, proving itself to be a leader in the integration with HP SDS, available right from the time the new services were introduced onto the market in April 2017. Today, MPS Monitor is one of only three platforms in the world to offer the complete range of functions of HP Smart Device Services; MPS Monitor is also the only solution that provides SDS to the HP Partners’ ecosystem as a completely self-consistent and separate solution.
During the HP World Partner Forum, HP partners were all given the chance to discover how MPS Monitor can enable the simple and immediate management of HP SDS through a valuable and practical presentation: Giorgio Gesi, CEO of Oberon Service, sister company of MPS Monitor and Solution Developer and Partner of HP JetAdvantage, had a talk alongside Riccardo Braccini, Purchasing Manager of TT Tecnosistemi, in the double session on 12 and 13 September with the title “Printers and MFPs that never go down? HP technologies that drive higher customer satisfaction and print service margins”.
TT Tecnosistemi is one of the main HP Partners in Italy to have provided HP SDS to its clients through MPS Monitor and, after just a few months, has already experienced considerable benefits, which it shared with the hundreds of HP Partners present.
Currently, HP Partners use Smart Device Services integrated in MPS Monitor across more than 270 clients, managing over 3,000 devices. The MPS Monitor SDS version is available as of September 2017, specifically designed for HP partners who would like to make the most of the financial and operating advantages offered by SDS, but who do not want to adopt the complete MPS Monitor solution for Managed Print Services. HP partners can access MPS Monitor SDS by choosing from 7 different subscriptions, starting from a free version that offers the complete range of SDS features on up to 50 HP printing devices.
