The adoption of MPS Monitor as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution enables the Venetian dealer to save about 30% in toner purchase costs, as well as allowing it to improve its services and open up new business opportunities.
Milan, 3 July 2019 – Bettiol, a Venetian dealer operating in the rental of multifunction devices and managed print services, has chosen MPS Monitor as its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for remote management of printers and Managed Print Services, achieving major business results in just a few months.
In 2018, the company chose to implement MPS Monitor to automate managed print services, based specifically on cost-page management contracts, automating in particular the collection of meter readings to make administrative processes more efficient. From the very beginning, the company was also able to drastically reduce the stocks of consumables left with customers, thanks to real-time reporting of toner supply by individual printers. This means that Bettiol can now deliver new consumables without customers having to do anything at all. All this adds up to a reduction of about 30% in the cost of toner purchases, a consequent reduction in warehouse costs and, at the same time, an improvement in customers’ perception of service level.
Following the adoption of MPS Monitor, Bettiol has also experienced other immediate benefits for its business. The business intelligence functions of the SaaS solution, and the visibility on the entire fleet of machines connected to its customers’ networks, have led to increased effectiveness of the Venetian dealer’s commercial activity, thanks to its ability to identify possible areas of intervention or new services, even during negotiations with potential customers.
Bettiol is now eagerly looking forward to the new version of the service. MPS Monitor 2.0 is characterized by greater ease of use and reliability of data collection, new features for the management of operational processes and Business Intelligence, and better integration with management systems, ensuring full data security, regulatory compliance and independent support for printer models from all the major manufacturers. “When we started using MPS Monitor, we expected to see evidence of any benefits within a year“, says Gianluca Ferrarese, CEO of Bettiol. “Just a few months after the go-live date, however, it was clear that we had made an excellent technological choice, which quickly brought us wide benefits on a strategic level. We believe that the new MPS Monitor 2.0 will be capable of further enhancing these benefits“, concludes Ferrarese.
“Bettiol is a great example of what our customers are experiencing and confirms the value of MPS Monitor, successfully used by over 600 dealers worldwide“, reports Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor Srl. “MPS Monitor supports dealers in the printing sector in the daily management of their business processes and in quickly and automatically resolving issues related to managing a fleet of printers. As the Bettiol case study shows, the business benefits for dealers are immediately apparent. It improves the level of service delivered to customers and the profitability of the services themselves, as well as opening up interesting business opportunities.”
